How big is Aimee?SO BIG!!

And so proud about it!

We can't believe how fast she's growing. At two months she is 12.2 lbs and 24". That puts her in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height, wow! You grow, girl! :) She smiles now and sleeps through most the night, 8-9 hours at a time. We can't get enough of her, as you can see... :)

Tiny bubbles, on my mouth. Makes me happy....

Night, night...

Night, night...
Sleep Tight...
Let's all have another bite
of our little Lindsey sandwich!!

Lindsey was so excited to wear one of Elise's nightgowns to bed. They made the cutest little princesses. She has asked to wear Elise's clothes every day since then. And sometimes, Elise says yes. :)

Wet and Wild

Our little jungle girl
loves to get wet...
and wild! :)
Elise, Allison (neighbor friend) and Lindsey
Everyone loves the Splash Zone.

After two weeks of swim lessons, the kids were ready to play at the pool. I love taking them in the mornings (since we have somewhat regular afternoon thunder showers) to get their energy out. Aimee usually sleeps in the stroller and Lindsey stays fairly close to the shallow end. We'll see how long it lasts. Lindsey amazed us the most as she was a bit water shy before this swim season and now I can't seem to hold her back. Today I had one of the life guards "return" Lindsey to me as she daringly wandered into the deep end while I wasn't looking. Oops! That's our little wild one!! I can't imagine where she gets that from. :) I love her little leopard swim suit as if fits her wild, curly hair and personality so well. We have daily requests to get wet and wild and the splash zone promises a great spot for summer fun.

Baby Doll

Here are all my little baby dolls with their baby dolls! :) Well, except Aimee who was sleeping, as usual. And Nathan, who prefers airplanes. Elise's birthday is coming up in two months and she has already been begging for a baby so she wouldn't have to borrow Lindsey's. We found one at the store the other day that we couldn't resist -she giggles, cries, sings, sneezes, coos and can say mama and papa. She's about the same size as Aimee and Elise fell in love. I don't know who had a harder time waiting to open her, Elise or me -but we got her out early so we all have a doll to love.

Elise named her baby Lacey and is ever the proud mama. She is very motherly, lately I would say bossy! Regardless, Lacey was just the willing baby she needed. :)

build-a-baby II

Elise, Nathan and Lindsey love to play build-a-bear and we couldn't just leave Aimee out of all the fun. So...we played build-a-baby one day, dressing her up in all their build-a-bear clothes. The kids loved it and Aimee was a great sport -sleeping through most of it. :) We had a good laugh and I'm sure Aimee will appreciate it one day when she can look back and be amazed that she was once as small as her build-a-bear. So here's little Aimee in her build-a-baby debut...

Eyes wide open!

Aimee is so alert, we finally brought out the activity mat for her entertainment (as if being bopped on the head by Nathan and Lindsey wasn't enough!). She loved looking at herself in the mirror and started smiling (little narcissus that she is, she very rarely smiles for us and I've yet to catch it on camera with her eye's open). But here she is, finally..at least, with her eyes wide open!!

She's really starting to chunk up and is growing so fast. She
is almost 12 pounds and 23 inches!!! That puts her in the
50th percentile, rocketing beyond our children's usual 20th
percentile average, wow. We could just pinch her little cheeks,
oh wait -Nathan does! :)

And now her eyes are closed again. Sweet dreams!

Lindsey-Lou

Lindsey has decided that she's ready for
"unna-wear"!!! :)

This decision was short lived as she finished
reading her book and then went outside and
peed in the tent! I prefer diapers and our
little miss stubborn prefers freedom which
means she has taken to running around the
house naked, to Elise's dismay and Nathan's
delight.

Here's our little drama queen dressed up in
FASHION! ...Always into something...hee, hee, hee.
